ANTEPRIMA ITALIANA: SIGGRAPH 2011 Computer Animation Festival
Dal SIGGRAPH, la più importante conferenza internazionale di computer grafica, arriva a VIEWFest il meglio dell’animazione mondiale, il Computer Animation Festival. L’intero programma sarà proiettato al Cinema Massimo in anteprima italiana, solo per il pubblico del VIEWFest! I lavori selezionati rispecchiano le eccellenze attuali nel campo artistico, di visualizzazione scientifica, degli Effetti Visivi, Real-time Graphics e dei corti narrativi.
Il Computer Animation Festival è riconosciuto dalla Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences e dal 1999 alcune opere presentate in anteprima al Computer Animation Festival sono state nominate per o hanno ricevuto un “Best Animated Short” Academy Award. Joshua Grow, direttore del Computer Animation Festival, sarà presente al VIEWFest per introdurre la proiezione del CAF!
